Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
When Jesus heard [it,] he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves,] neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
But of that day and hour knoweth no [man,] no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.

And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

And when Jesus knew [it,] he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:

Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

For if God spared not the natural branches, [take heed] lest he also spare not thee.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
In the law it is written, With [men of] other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, [I did it] not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
