And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?

And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, [a city] of Sidon, unto a woman [that was] a widow.
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word [is] this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise [the disciples] of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy [it? ]

And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped [them] with the hairs of her head.
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:

And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

And Jesus said unto him, Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against us is for us.
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain [man] said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him. ]

And he turned him unto [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see:
He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge [him] vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself,] neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes. ]

When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, [as thou art] in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
