There's probably only one man named Amok in the Bible, but he's mentioned twice. Amok was a priest and Levitical family head who returned from the Babylonian exile together with Zerubbabel and Jeshua (Nehemiah 12:7). By the time Jeshua's son Joiakim became high priest, the family of Amok was headed by a man named Eber (Nehemiah 12:20).
