There are eight men named Jeroham in the Bible:

• The father of Elkanah and the grandfather of Samuel, the last judge of Israel (1 Samuel 1:1). According to 1 Chronicles 6:27 and 6:34, this Jeroham descended from Levi through Kohath.
• A man of Benjamin (1 Chronicles 8:27).
• The father of Ibneiah of Benjamin who was among the people who returned from the Babylonian exile (1 Chronicles 9:8).
• The father of Adaiah who was among the priests to return from exile (1 Chronicles 9:12). Nehemiah also makes mention of an Adaiah son of Jeroham, who was among the priests who worked on the temple (Nehemiah 11:12). Nehemiah's micro-genealogy of this Jeroham is more extensive than that of the Chronicler but it's not uncommon for Biblical genealogies to be compacted by leaving a few generations out. These people are most probably the same.
• A man from Gedor whose two sons Joelah and Zebadiah joined David at Ziklag (1 Chronicles 12:7).
• The father of Azarel, who was the chief of the tribe of Dan during the days of king David (1 Chronicles 27:22).
• The father of Azariah, who was among the military leaders that the priest Jehoiada surrounded himself with, in order to overthrow the evil regentess Athaliah and put the rightful heir Joash on the throne of Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 23:1).
