There are two men graced with the beautiful name Izrahiah in the Bible:
- A son of Uzzi, son of Tola, son of Issachar, the ninth son of Jacob and the fifth of Leah (1 Chronicles 7:3).
- The chief of the singers who livened up the dedication of the rebuilt wall of Jerusalem in the time of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 12:42). For some reason, most English translations have this man listed as Jezrahiah.

The name Izrahiah consists of two elements, the final one being יה (Yah) = יהו (Yahu) = יו (Yu), which in turn are abbreviated forms of the Tetragrammaton יהוה, YHWH, or Yahweh.
