רקב

The verb רקב (raqeb) means to rot or decay. (Isaiah 40:20, Proverbs 10:7 only). Its derivations are:

  • The masculine noun רקב (raqab), meaning rottenness or decay (Job 13:28, Hosea 5:12).
  • The masculine noun רקבון (riqqabon), also meaning rottenness or decay (Job 41:27 only).
