רעל
The verb רעל (ra'al) appears to describe the movement of a veil that hangs flapping in the wind: to quiver, shake or reel. It's used as verb only once, in Nahum 2:4, and its derivatives are:
- The masculine noun רעל (ra'al), meaning a reeling (Zechariah 12:2 only).
- The feminine noun רעלה (re'ala), probably meaning veil (Isaiah 3:19 only).
- The feminine noun תרעלה (tar'ela), meaning reeling (Isaiah 51:17, 51:22 and Psalm 60:3 only).
